
THE Presidential Programme for Professionals (PP4P) is set to convene a high-level Annual Stakeholder Convention in Harare this Wednesday, with a sharp focus on harnessing technology, innovation and human capital to accelerate national development.
Vice President Colonel (Retired) Dr Kembo Mohadi is expected to officiate at the event, to be held at the Heritage Village, bringing together senior Government officials, industry leaders and academia.
PP4P, an initiative that unites professionals to collaborate with the President on addressing socio-economic challenges, is positioning the convention as a strategic platform to advance sustainable development in line with Vision 2030.
The gathering will also seek to strengthen collaboration between institutions of higher learning, policymakers and industry, with emphasis on translating research into practical economic solutions.
Key speakers include National Housing and Social Amenities Minister Professor Paul Mavima, who is also PP4P patron, Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister Felix Mhona, Women’s Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister Senator Monica Mutsvangwa, and Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, Hon Tino Machakaire.
As preparations intensify, institutions of higher learning have been urged to showcase scalable innovations capable of driving industrial growth, enterprise development and broader economic activity.
